COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT in honor of Mother's Day:
Baby Shower - we will collect baby items at our May and June meetings to donate locally for new mothers needing a little help to bring baby home! Please bring your unwrapped contributions for baby boy and girl layettes - onesies, receiving blankets, pacifiers, crib sheets, etc. Mom's Inc. will provide the diaper bags to fill with your donations.

Member Bio - Kathy Kitts, NeuGrowth Center

Kathy Kitts lives in Germantown, and is married with two sons, both grown now and in college. Her sons have been replaced by surrogates: her Jack Russell Terrier, Skippy, and her 1/2 Angora kitten, Cheshire. They keep things lively.

Kathy's first businesses involve optimizing the development of the brain, or mind.She has recently formed a partnership with a colleague who has a travel- and service-related company. She will talk briefly about this business.

Kathy's passions are teaching anyone about our incredible brain (but especially parents of babies and young kids), travel, dancing, learning about other cultures, and reading. She is happy she can do what she loves while making a living from it!

Speaker Bio - Angelique Rewers - October, 2011

After a decade of designing and executing award-winning communication and marketing campaigns for Corporate America, Angelique Rewers left to begin a new career and life as an entrepreneur.

She first started Bon Mot Communications as a way to help growing businesses through consulting, project management, and writing services. She has worked with some of the world's most renowned companies and FORTUNE 500 firms, such as Northrop Grumman, ITT, Constellation Energy, Towers Watson, MedStar Health, and Becton Dickinson, as well as various other Global 2000 firms, emerging companies, and government organizations.

Her work has been recognized by the League of American Communication Professionals, the Public Relations Society of America, the International Arc Awards, the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and the American Business Communicators. Angelique’s work has garnered awards and recognition from nearly two dozen regional, national and international organizations.

Her expertise in building trust with people and organizations has been featured in two books: Building the High Trust Organization: Strategies for Supporting Five Key Dimensions of Trust and the PR News Employee Communications Guidebook and, in 2010, she was awarded the Platinum Excellence Award from the Millionaire Protégé Club.

Recently, Angelique launched her new business, The Corporate Agent. Through mentoring programs, consulting services and training products, Angelique shares her business strategies and marketing methods she’s used to grow and transform her own career. Angelique uses her expertise from working within the Corporate World and the Entrepreneurial World to teach self-employed professionals, small business owners, and entrepreneurs how to successfully market their services to large businesses. Her clients grow their own businesses and land major, lucrative contracts.
