Hello! Let's welcome the Spring with great energy and actions! I can't wait to check in and hear what everyone has been working on and where we will go as the weather becomes more and more welcoming each day.

Our March meeting is coming up on Wednesday, March 16th, 10 am to noon. We will kick off with goal setting and action review, then we will learn from marketing veteran Pam Clark (whose clients included Sandy Spring Bank, NIH, etc.), then we will get jealous about long time member Diana Caisse's travel business, and more!

Feel free to visit or bring a friend. We are here to learn from and support one another as we strive to run a successful business while nurturing our families.

9:30 – 10 am: Sign-in: Help set up if you are able; make a connection with someone new; pick up business cards and brochures; display your information and raffle item.

10 – 10:30 am: Self introduction. Let everyone know 1) your current month's goals, 2) what have you done or will do to promote & improve your business this month, and 3) what's your goal next month.

Pam Clark, Owner of Clark Concepts, LLC., will be presenting on how to gain visibility for your business through effective marketing online. Clark Concepts is a small marketing and design firm located in Rockville Maryland. Pam founded this company 13 years ago and has acquired a solid client base over the years including Sandy Spring Bank, National Institute of Health, and Mistubishi Electric of America Foundation to name a few.The presentation will include tips on how to get your website noticed, reaching out to your clients via e-mail, online advertising opportunities and how social media factors in. You business will certainly benefit from these marketing pointers!

11:00 am - 11:30 am: Member Presentation: Travel Tips from Diana Caisse - http://exploretheworld.nexion.net

Diana has been a travel consultant, primarily leisure, with a variety of local travel agencies since 1990. In 1999, she completed my CTC certification which is equivalent to a Masters Degree for travel consultants and in 1999, she opened her own home based agency. She was almost born traveling and “exploring the world” for most of her life (father employed with now defunct Pan Am) and continue to have a bad case of wanderlust. She has continued attending industry events, participating in educational programs and she hopes shortly to achieve her France Specialist certification from the French Government Tourist Office.
