June 19 - Speaker Bio

Whether you are an entrepreneur, new in business or seasoned, a business owner or manager, you make dozens of decisions each day.  Many of those decisions must be made without the benefit of extensive data or analysis. Decision-making is a crucial leadership skill.  Using research results from interviews with more than 60 leaders in the public, private, academic, nonprofit and political sectors, this program uncovers leaders’ secret skill for success. Both men and women leaders agree.  Intuition is their most valued and unrecognized skill.  Leaders know how to turn down the noise and turn up their insight to make better decisions.  The program includes practical, proven steps to demystify decision-making.
  • Learn the factors that go into decision-making
  • Deepen your ability to sense and understand people
  • Learn to assess context by looking up and out
  • Develop self-awareness by clarifying values and triggers
  • Discover your ability to listen to and trust your intuition
  • Find ways to talk about intuition in the workplace
Shelley Row, P.E., describes herself as a “recovering over-thinker.”  Shelley is a professional engineer with 30 years in the industry of which ten years were as an executive in the federal government. She is an award-winning leader and sought-after speaker. At the peak of her career, she and her husband took a year off to live in France; the culmination of a long-term goal.  She is the author of three books about their life abroad. Her research on intuition and leadership started when she learned to think less and live more. She transformed from a woman engineer to a woman executive, from setting goals to achieving goals and from having a dream to living her dream.

Today, Shelley is the President and CEO of Shelley Row Associates LLC.  Shelley provides leadership development programs and executive coaching in decision-making, intuitive leadership and goal achievement. Shelley is an ICF coach-in-training.
