COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT in honor of Mother's Day:
Baby Shower - we will collect baby items at our May and June meetings to donate locally for new mothers needing a little help to bring baby home! Please bring your unwrapped contributions for baby boy and girl layettes - onesies, receiving blankets, pacifiers, crib sheets, etc. Mom's Inc. will provide the diaper bags to fill with your donations.

Feb 20th Speaker Bio - Ellyn McKay of CEO Vision

Ellyn has more than 25 years experience working with entrepreneurs in all aspects of business: strategic planning, human resources, finance, marketing and branding. She has developed a proven methodology that helps each business owner translate her vision into reality by creating a concrete strategy, organizational structure and high-performing staff.
Ellyn was also on the ground floor in working to strengthen women-owned businesses. In the early 1990s, she was instrumental in establishing the successful Washington office of the American Woman's Economic Development Corporation (AWED), the first organization in the U.S. to provide training and business counseling to aspiring and established women entrepreneurs.

She has been a consistent leader in working with women's businesses, playing key roles in the Women Presidents' Educational Organization (WPEO), the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the National Women's Business Council. In addition, she has provided management consulting and human resources expertise in the for-profit sector.
Ellyn graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a degree in Psychology and earned a master's degree from American University in Industrial Relations.
