Nov. 20th Speaker Intro - Tara Bryant - Barter System

Did you know that the age-old practice of barter continues to contribute to billions of dollars in commercial transactions each year? In today’s challenging economic environment, business owners are realizing that conserving their cash is a smart and necessary way to protect the future growth of their company.

Instead of purchasing the items you need or want with cash, joining an established barter trade exchange gives you the ability to make these purchases with trade dollars that have been earned by selling your company’s product or service specialty or excess inventory or production capacity to other active barter members.

Speaker:

Tara Bryant
Trade Broker

Originally from Buffalo, NY – she comes to Barter System with 15+ years of professional experience in Sales and Service. With an extremely well rounded set of talents obtained from her education in Business Administration from Buffalo State College and more practical hands-on skills obtained from diverse employment with Fortune 500 and International companies ranging from Lucent Technology to Elsevier Science. She is professional, prompt and enjoys helping clients reach their professional goals.

Nancy Daniel - Remembering the Vision & Creating the Future

Founder, Moms Inc. - Nancy Daniel

For those of you who couldn't make it yesterday to Nancy's service, it was a moving ceremony.  We learned so much about Nancy - her love and support spread wide and deep beyond we could ever know.  She backpacked through Europe by herself in her early twenties, raised 2 kids on her own through her thirties and forties, and she received a master from Brown University but dedicated herself to help business moms succeed.

The last long conversation I had with Nancy was about her vision behind Moms Inc.  As we are the only chapter that still operates, I intend to carry on the torch and try to continue Nancy's vision, one that saw many of us through thick and thin while building our business and family.

Please join me for a visionary day to start setting the course for Moms Inc. on Wednesday, November 20th.  The regular meeting starts at 10 am with a speaker from Barter Systems, but we will wrap up at 11 am.  We will then have a pot luck lunch to exchange thoughts and ideas about Moms Inc.from 11 am to 1 pm.

Please let me know if you would like to attend.  I can be reached at Yihung.Mohs@dreamdinners.com

Thank you, and enjoy every minute - good and bad, happy or sad.  See you in a few weeks.
